Default v6 Torque Converter

Hey guys a have a 4 cylinder 4l60e laying around and just bought a v8 4l60e with no converter. Will the 4 cylinder converter work? Its just layin around so I might as well use it! thanks!

You need to determine if you have "LT" style or "LS" style 4L60E and converters. They cannot be interchanged. See my pics here:

Also, what type of engine are you using?

I don't think this is going to work. Take some pics of what you have. What's engine are you using?
