Default budget 6l80e converter ?'s

My brother bought a 2014 RCSB Silverado with 5.3/6l80e combo. He has done headers full exhaust ported c7 intake CAI 4.10 gear. Truck runs real strong. He found a 2009 or 10 corvette 6l converter for 50 bucks. We can take it to ptc since they are 15 minutes from the house and they said they can get 500 to 800 more rpm stall out of it. Question is how much can we get 2500 stall or more will and it hold up? No nitrous yet but this truck will wear out most mustangs and ls Camaros it probably won't be long till it gets a 100 shot.

C6 A6 will not fit the truck - different bolt pattern. You can get a 300mm OE converter up to about 2500, you just need to start with a truck or Camaro converter, not Corvette. We also have a 278mm option in about a 3000-3200 stall, food for thought....

Ok we will look for a Camaro converter. I think as good as this truck runs with a little stall it will run low 13s high 12s.
