4l80e newbie help
so I just picked up a fresh rebuilt 4l80e that im going to put in my lemans with a 5.3 and a turbo set up my question is the trans didn't come with a converter so what are my options im running out of money for this project for the time being so can I get a stock junkyard converter and run with that? what are some of your experiances and what is a good budget aftermarket converter

You will find that most 4l80 converters on the low cost side of things will use the 6 lug 11.5" bolt pattern. In order to run those you would need to buy a new flexplate. Our budget 4l80 converter uses the 5.3 flexplate, making it perfect for swaps like this and is available in a 3000-3200 stall speed. We rate them to hold 500 rwhp, and it comes with a 1 year warranty. Excellent choice to get things running when ballin on a budget. Here is the converter on our website...
