I am in the middle of my swap. is one of the connectors inside the console for the back up lights? and for the nuetral safety wires to i just splice into the wires at the clutch pedal switch? Thank you

 

What kind of car and shifter do you have?
I have attached some wiring diagrams and notes for a 2002 F-Body. Some of the notes I got from different post and may not be accurate. I never took the time to correct them, but between the notes and wiring diagrams you should be able to figure it out.

i did this swap, decided reverse lights were for electricians.

 

I spliced into the reverse lights on wiring harness where it plugged in on passenger side of the transmission. Its a brown connector.
As for clutch switch, get some male butt connectors and slide in the switch after you unplug it .use the lower clutxh switch by the floor board

 

Dont forget to wire up the reverse lockout. I put that on the I'll do it later list whsen I did my swap. Well I didnt get around to it and managed to accidently bump the shifter into reverse while doing 40mph and guess what? Broke 4l60
