I'm doing my automatic swap. The y pipe hanger I had with the t56 fit but doesn't with the 4l60. If I get one off an automatic car, will be locate the rubber hanger on the same spot as the one for the t56 did in relation to the car?

Yes. The 4L60E hanger will fit.
