V12 and 4L80E
You might search the forum for things like "Swap 4L60E to 4l80E", "Swap T56 to 4L80E" or "Swap 4L80E" for many threads with many details about the 4L80E.
(On the forum, use the advanced search and limit your search to the "Automatic transmission" forum so that you don't get hits in other areas such as "For sale".)
I'm not sure that "V12" and "buggy" should ever be used in the same sentence.
If you install this, the computer is no longer needed ?
Also shifting is like manual, you have to change every gear ? or if you put it in D for instance will change automatically ?
thanks

The 4L80E cannot perform any shifting by itself. All shifting is performed by the two shift solenoids which are controlled by a computer or simple "box". Two shift solenoids give you 4 combinations, corresponding to 4 gears.
Controller. You can also get this from jake.
You will also need a 4speed shifter like the b&m quicksilver. Basicly any 4 speed shifter will work
This is indeed 4l80e?
