4l80e staying locked in 3rd and 4th gear after passes
Last Sunday I made 4 passes at the local 8th mile, aside from blowing the tires off the D3 transbrake on 7# on all of the passes, I did something to the 4l80e on the last pass, temps weren't high, nothing shot out, no loud bangs, but after that pass, my converter started locking at creeping speeds, 30 or so. (It's supposed to lock at 45mph and 4th cruising around, not 3rd gear) there are no DTC codes and the fluid doesn't look burnt.
It's also locking in reverse.
Any ideas? Everything I've researched points to a cross leak In the valve body. Trans was built properly, it isn't like it was messed up to begin with from the start. "Not built right" isn't an answer for me either.
