Well the 4l60e is a 2001 in the bACK OF MY 98 TAHOE AND IT IS MINUS THE TORQUE CONVERTER IT IS A 300MM WITH ABOUT A 7 INCH DISTANCE BETWEEN THE FLANGE THAT BOLTS TO THE MOTOR ANS THE FLANGE THAT BOLTS TO THE TRANSMISSION THE TRANS(4L6OE) IN MY TAHOE IS A 298MM AND HAS THE FLANGE DISTANCE OF ABOUT 6 1/2 INCHES CAN I REMOVE THE BELL HOUSING OFF THE 300MM AND BOLT ON MY 298 BELL HOUSING AND USE THE 298 TORQUE CONVERTER ON THE 2001 300MM TRANS?

No!
Look at how different the input shafts are between a 298mm and 300mm trans.
Obviously the internals of a 298mm and 300mm converter are correspondingly completely different too.

4l60e 1KCD. Compatible with 6KCD
Is 1KCD Same As 6KCD. Both are 4 spd 4x4 .
I have 01 Gmc sierra Sle 5.3 vin T and I bought 5TDD tranny didn't last long not even 100 miles . Waste of my money and was wrong one too I believe. Since mm shaft believe to be different. And went to local people's I know should had went through them first!!! Bought 6KCD was told it the same. Is this right same compatible??

The 5TDD unit is for a Trailblazer. My experience with Trailblazer units is they only have a .420 boost valve. They will not have enough pressure rise to clamp the clutches and hold in a full sized truck or Tahoe.
Most used transmissions are just that used and have some wear or 3-4 clutch & 2-4 band distress. Why not just have your original rebuilt?

Just a word of warning...
Both 1KCD and 6KCD are recycled Broadcast code numbers.
1KCD could be a 2001 or a 2011 unit (the electrical connector in the case is a quick way to tell. Grey =2001, Blue =2011).
6KCD could be a 1996 or a 2006 unit (the input-shafts, stator support, and bell-housing are different).
