Hi, would like a little help installing a hipster brake in my th400, considering hipsters instructions aren't very illustrated with diagrams and photos to well. Anyway, was wondering if anyone installed the regular brake and how you may have went about grinding the modulator and manual valves? If this is even necessary or not, since other brakes I've looked, don't illustrate doing this. If you have pictures how it's suppose to look when done would be great. Thanks.

 

The modifications are necessary.

The Hipster instructions I've seen were easily understandable. If you aren't capable I would suggest you take it to a professional performance transmission shop.

 

I'm more then capable of grinding 2 spool valves down, just wanted to know why and if anyone had a better image of what they look like when your done grinding them, cause hipsters drawings look like they were drawn on a napkin.
