Default Tranny Cooler Leaking Coolant Into Transmission

Whats the first sign or clue a tranny cooler is leaking radiator coolant into the transmission? Or is there one? Does the tranny fluid level increase? Will the transmission start slipping? Or? (using synthetic ATF) Thanks.

Well it would change the way the fluid looks for one. Usually when the seal in the cooler is breeched, you notice the trans fluid in the radiator most times.
