Performabuilt Level 2 4L60e Testimonials Ok guys I think I got myself talked into a level 2 Performabuilt 4L60e for my LS swap. If your running the level 2 4L60e chime in and let me know what your opinions are on the trans good or bad. I'm especially interested in knowing If anyone has pushed the 700HP claim. Please list the vehicle and estimated HP #s or dyno #s and time slips if you got them. Video's are even better

In 2008 I installed the PB lvl 2 behind my 414 and it is still going strong.
It's been a couple years since I dynoed but back then with small Patriot
heads, Fast 90/90 and 1-3/4 lt's it made 530 to the wheels. Ran 10.82
on that setup and was running out of fuel. Stock pump then. I've made
changes to get more air in and out since then don't have any updated info
but I am pleased with the trans.

I also had a performabuilt lvl 2. I was very pleased with it as well. The shifts were crisp and quick. I ended up selling that car. 2 months after getting a lvl 2.
I have been consideing picking up another tranny from them.

Driving to P.A. in the morning to pick up my performabuilt trans! Hopefully I get A tour of there shop? Won't be able to put some miles on until spring(upstate N.Y.) Yank 3600ss will be here next Friday
Both Xmas gifts to myself lol. Alan at PB has been a pleasure to deal with on the phone/emailing! Same goes for Dave at yank! Will update when I get back.

Sorry for late update! Meet Alan at his shop to pick up my level 1. Just as nice in person as on the phone. One thing they didn't mention (or maybe I missed it) but def a plus is they put the deeper truck trans pan on! can't wait to test it out with my new 3600ss! (After break in of coarse)

It funny cause i went past the shop a couple times due to no sign/advertisement. Its a newer store front type building. I drove around back (ware house type setting ) and saw my trans inside on a pallet. When i meet with alan i asked why no advertisement ? He said hes mainly just does internet sales. Imagine if people knew he was there the business he could bring in. As for the shop it looked clean with aaaalot of tranny parts on shelves/tables ect! Nothing fancy but the right setting to get the job done!!
