Default 2.75 turbo 400 gearset, snap ring prob.

I have a 2.75 gear set, I think they were Kilgores, that I am putting in my 400
When I try and install the output shaft into the output carrier, there isn't enough space for the snap ring-I cant use any thinner bearing under the rear internal gear because it almost touching the output carrier
Do they make a thinner snap ring?

Did you try to eliminate all other things and just install the output shaft into the output carrier with nothing inside?

I think I see the problem, the snap ring slot is further down than the orig one
In the pic the "teeth" for a better word above the snap ring grove are thicker
There may well be a thinner snap ring that is supposed to go with this setup
