Default 4l80E tail shaft housing questions

I’ve just got done building a 4L80E for a friends turbo 5.3 Camaro SS. This is my first 4L80E and I didn’t realize until now that it may require a different tail housing. The transmission did not come with a tail housing. The output shaft has an O-ring and sticks out from the case about 6.2”. We were told the transmission came out of a box truck, so I am assuming that the original tail housing had the E-brake built in. So any 4L80E experts want to give any ideas as to what tail housing is required and what transmission yoke to run? A link to purchase one would be even better  I found a 5 ¾” tail housing that seems like it should work. This would have the output shaft sticking out ½” from the end of the tail housing but Im not sure since it doesn’t have the parking brake on the housing.

If my memory is correct, this transmission uses a bolt on yoke and you will not be able to use a slip yoke unless you find one for TH400 which used the O-Ring on the output shaft.
The G vans used a slip yoke shaft without the O-Ring.
You can have the O-Ring area on the shaft turned down so you can use a non-vented slip yoke.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a tail housing that doesn't have the parking brake assembly that I can use or do I have to use one with the parking brake assembly?

I think there are some yokes that have a small counter bore that might work
You can get some of the longer spline tail shafts off ebay, use a standard tail housing

The "Parking Brake" tailhousing uses a roller bearing instead of a Bushing & cannot be used with a Slip Yolk.

As forcd ind stated there are Counter Bored yolks available (Dennys Driveshaft) Remove the O-ring on the Output!
