Default tRANS SLIPS ON 2-3 SHIFT

4L60 trans on my 2002 Z/28 was slipping on the 2-3 shift under WOT. I had the trans rebuilt . They found clutches damaged. I still have the same problem after the the trans was rebuilt. Has anyone else had the same problem ? What could be the problem ? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

Common issues with 3-4 are.
1-Green oring in input drum not changed or damaged
2-Stator tube in pump worn of damaged where input shaft rings ride
3-rings on input shaft damaged or not changed during rebuild and worn.
4-debris on encapsulated check ball in case not allowing it to seat causing leakage in third clutch oil
5-Damage or missing orifice/check valve in input drum causing leakage in 3rd clutch oil.

Hope this helps

What is your line pressure during and immediately after the 2-3 shift at WOT? What kind of 3-4 stack are you running?

Performabuilt made an even more thorough post about this last week, where the OP had the same/similar problem. See #11:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...built-60e.html

Yes, many people have had the same problem, and I am confident it is because the builder did not carefully check every point that Frank (PerformaBuilt) lists.

I will be creating a Sticky soon so that such information is easier to find and doesn't need to be repeated over and over.

You need to also consider the tune. Very possible you need to lower the mph a tad for the 2-3 shift command. It looks at mph and rpm to make a shift.
