what is the 6l80 cooler line pressure supposed to be? I have a l92 / 6l80 swap in my 62 nova and I had a thrust bearing go out on crank. looks to be something in trans cause is rear side of bearing that is eat up. what controls cooler pressure?

From trans right to an aftermarket cooler? Still use the radiator as well?

Perhaps I'm reading this all wrong, but how the heck can the cooling line pressure affect the thrust on the crank? I'm not aware that any model automatic transmission puts significant thrust on the crank. I understand that with a manual transmission a depressed clutch puts significant thrust on the the crankshaft.

If the crankshaft's thrust bearing was toasted, I would suspect an improperly installed or built converter.

When the cooler is restricted it causes the pressure to push the converter forward
