My old motor was a 434ci from ERL,but the motor took a dump on me and now i have a 435ci with a set of WCCH All Pro LS7 Heads. As far as track number,I haven't put it on the track yet due to my weak *** stock rear end.

Default Two time fti owner

I have owned three 4th gens first car was a full bolt on lt1 with 3.73 and the srlt7082 converter cut 1.6s 60s 2nd car was a full bolt on 01 z28 srls8082 cut 1.5 60s. My current 99 z28 I bought with a bad trans rebuilt the trans and didn't have enough cash for a fti so I went with a ptc converter and it's just as loose as the fti 4000 but is considered a 2800-3200 stall best 60 so far 1.68. Next winter I will be putting another fti converter in nothing compares to fti with my experiences.

I do 1.66 1.67 60's on my Yank SS3600 - bolt on only LT1, stock 4L60E. It does feel a little tight for a 3600, likes to be flashed. I'm doing a 4L80E and D1SC soon so I'm looking into going with a tighter one cant decide 3000 or 3200 Yank again or FTI.

The FTI 3000 feels great in my Saab, haven't quite figured that one out yet but daily drives almost as good as the Yank. Even though the Yank is looser it grabs earlier at low throttle driving around town. Not sure if that's a weight thing or the Yank SS is just more flexible.

It's showing that you have a SRLS8082. This is a 4L60/4L65 LS engine converter with an advertised hard hit 4,000 stall.

Thanks. BTW, I love it. I've tried quite a few converter builds, and this one is my favorite so far. I'll be reaching out to you for an 80e converter soon.

Recently installed an fti hard hit 3800 in my ls1/4l60e Monte Carlo, it feels noticeably looser cruising around town than the factory one, is this typical or possible I’ve damaged the trans at all? I’m probably just being paranoid but I thought the converters for the newer overdrive trans acted a little tighter around town than the older stuff with th350/th400’s

Very decent times for your race weight and mods. That combinaiton is working well.
