Welcome to the forums. I think your torque converter will work fine. Can we get some more details, like tranny, rear gears, other supporting mods you have done?

I dont think the circle D E converter will work with spray. Best bet is to call Chris @ Circle D.

I run there 5c which is a 4000 and plan on spraying a 100 shot on top..

I was talking to Chris Sehorn he said i should be fine with 150 shot. But i have to keep on eye with the rpm dropping in 2-3 shifts. He said if it drops less then 500 its going to be loose

Since this doesn't really belong in the Internals sections, I'm gonna move it.

And welcome to the Transmission section.

Are you tuning the PCM to lock the converter in 3rd and maybe even 2nd?
If so, at what MPH?
I would suggest unlocking it during the shift.

Chris and Brian from CircleD are very active in this section. Hopefully they will chime in soon.

This is a tough call. The 2E converter does not really take the spray, but works great on motor. Give it a shot (pun intended) and let us know if you want to make any changes. We're happy to help.
