As the thread title states I am looking for recommendations for a rebuild kit for a 4L80E that can handle 1000hp. I also want to use a TCI transbrake/full manual valve body http://www.tciauto.com/tc/gm-4l80e-t...kit-97-uphtml/ . I see the rebuild kit from Monster transmission that can handle it but I don't want to pay for the shift kit included if I am not going to use it. Anyone know if there are other rebuild kits that can handle 1000hp that do not include a shift kit? I have tried looking but most of them don't have a given hp/tq rating.
