TCC / Brake switch ?
1957 Chevy; In the instructions it states;
Brake light wire [ for TCC ] although not necessary , the wire labeled brake light, should be run to the factory brake pedal switch NC so TCC will unlock when you apply brake .
I put a cruise brake switch in it out of a 1980s Chevy c-10, brakes work fine , but with lap top hooked to it at 55 mph it shows that TCC is off until I lightly push the brake, the it comes on. I unplugged the switch & car drives good & shifts into Tcc fine. The switch is good I checked.
Now it seems the switch is working backwards NC for the trans.
Should I hook it up to brake light side & see if it works that way?
I have 12v on switch any tine key is on.
should open to cut power to the T/Q to disengage. I got mine from BP Automotive.
the switch has two sides one for the light and one for the TCC.
