Default Rebuilding 4L60e, part recommendations

I'm rebuilding my 98 4L60e, I want it to hold up to 600hp and 600tq range.
What kits has everybody used, pro and cons. Do I need to upgrade to 5 gear planetary? Beast sun shell, sonax input shaft? New solenoids?

Good Luck, You will need it if you abuse it daily & want it to last more than 20-30,000 miles without a refresh.

Don't use "Kits", I buy what I need.

Do I need to upgrade to 5 gear planetary?
NO!!!! I run the 5-Pinion Input Carrier quite a bit because it doesn't cost much more the a 4-Pinion, Watch for the Bearing change on new Delco Input Carriers.
For the Reaction Carrier I run a Delco High Speed 4 Pinion...Which is stock on all V8 4th gen F-bodies.
The most important thing is to run New Delco Or Good Used OEM/Delco. (The Sonnax "Ratio Change" 6-pinion Input Carrier is a nice piece)

Beast sun shell?
I would run a Sonnax Smart Shell.

sonnax input shaft?
NO! Upgrading the Output Shaft is more of a priority.

New solenoids?
Yes, Delco.

Do you buy all this stuff from one vendor or source it from multiple?

I'm from Iowa so I go through Midwest Transmission Supply. Just a very large distributor for a lot of trans shops around here and I you can set up an account and order stuff for yourself too. Better prices than anywhere you'll find on the net. Otherwise there are plenty of sites and vendors that are sponsors here that can get you all of that list.

Disregard Post #3... Maroon Monster's recommendations there are outdated.
He would provide different recommendations today.

I hope he makes corrections but I would guess:
5-pinion planetaries
Red altos?
10 vane instead of 13?
...............
Did I miss anything?
