ive heard of poeple swapping th400s into there camaros and was looking for some info. im swapping a turbo 5.3 into my camaro and was just curious what exactly all it takes to put a th400 behind it. or is it just gonna be simpler to go 60 or 80. thanks in advance

There are different lengths on the th400 as well based on the tail shaft housing. Most likely you will need to change driveshafts too because of length. If you plan on running a th400 without a full manual valve bodh you mught also want to consider running a vaccum canister, there not much money and can make the transmission operate properly with shifts as driving. I always tried to keep 18 pounds of vaccuum minimum to my th400 cars and it worked out well. Should extend the life of the trans as well.
