I'm looking for a built trans for my supercharged lq9 that makes 550hp. It will be in a 1971c10 and will be only street driven. What everybody's thoughts on builders and stall size for a street truck? Thank you

Finishline or rpm for the trans and I'd call around to various converter vendors to see what they suggest for the truck.

 

You'll save money by buying local. But you need to find a good builder who can do the job right.

I had a performabuilt that I paid almost 2x the money for than a local built 60 that will hold more power.

 

Our builder typically charges about 1050 for like a level2 build. However ive been quoted 16/1800 for stockish rebuilds from other local shops. Its all about finding the right person/shop.
