70264 Trans cooler DOPE STYLE & SSRA install pics inside
Car had this transmission cooler on it which I just took off:
Not even sure what brand this one is? Hayden tube and fin? It was in the way of my SSRA install so I installed a 70264 B&M TC and mounted it DOPE STYLE. Install was very easy and my trans temps are 30 degrees cooler now now with it being mounted DOPE STYLE.
I may put a fan on the cooler also like a Perma-Cool 19127
Is this TC directional? Does it matter where you hook the hot and cold lines on the TC? The line coming off the passenger side of the radiator is currently going into the nipple on the LEFT side in the pic below:
Rest of the install:

A search of "dope style" will show several pics of various installs. The SSRA has been proven to pick up 2 mph in the 1/4 and knock off 0.10 off time slips. It sucks air up from under the bumper and routes it to the air filter and doesn't increase engine temps.
Also it's a good idea to clean the radiator and condenser while you have it apart.

Update: Sold the B&M and went Hayden 679 instead. It's so much better with much cooler temps. Here's how to mount the hayden with the SSRA.
