ls1 trans to 5.3 motor i have a 2000 camaro ls 4l60e trans i want to mate to a 2003 5.3, 4 wd motor, what do i need to change , the bell housing and the input shafts are different

A 2000 4L60E that was originally installed on an LS1 will bolt right up to a 2003 5.3. In fact if someone posted a picture of the engine side both transmissions would look exactly the same.
Post some pictures. Or at the very least post what the sticker on the case says.
Still could be mismatched parts.
The case sticker has the year code and body line. On one of these pics is a 2002 f body, if the sticker is missing it's stamped on the bottom by the tail housing. One pic is a 1999 c series truck. A 4x4 will have a K instead of C.
All the ones you mention should have a 12 o'clock bell housing bolt and a input shaft that looks like the one in the picture.
