Transmission trouble My 2008 Silverado transmission will shift into reverse and drive you can feel it lock in but the truck wont move and it wont rev over 2000 rpm and its locked into park why i say this is because i went to tow it to my shop and it wouldnt move is it possible the parking paw linkage may have come loose and the shift detent is still working i havent had a chanceto pull the pan yet to find out but im courious if anyone else has had a problem with there 4l60 transmission like im having with mine.
I would pull pan and see whats happening, I do not see a way for the park paw to get stuck but anythings possible
