I started a thread on here about a month ago about this. No one could really give me a solid answer on if it made a difference on the timeslip. It should make traction easier to come by though. My opinion is that it will help a bit on high powered setup's and also on lighter cars with alot of rear gear (4.10 and up).
I bit the bullet and ordered one. This spring and see what kinda difference. I will have the same converter but the car will be around 80lbs light but I will factor that along with the weather in.

Yeah, several threads on it.
I have a close-ratio 6 pinion planetary. While I like it for street driving, I was not able to document any ET improvement at the track. Since I often have traction problems it did help with that.

I seen there were some other threads started but no solid answers. there about half the cost now. my car is a 383 le2 h/c/I car 3.90 gear auto 11.80 car right now. 3500lbs. might have bite the bullet and try it.
