Default Th350 guys help out

Hey guys wondering if it will be ok to run my temp sensor in this plug. It's the one right next to the kick down cable port, just below the cooler lines. Question is will my sending unit interfere with anything? I know this port was for tc to force 3rd. Sending unit is fairly long.

The port will work to measure case temp but not necessarily accurate for fluid temp s most ports are dead ends no actual flow so the measurement will tend to be slower and more a measurement of the case temp than anything, Best positions are the pan or in cooler line return but be careful not to restrict flow in cooler line
