Default Not enough converter?

I've got a ms3 cam car with prc heads fast 102 th400 9" with 4.11s FTI 3800 nitrous converter flashes to about 3500. Only able to cut 1.84 60fts on motor going 7.63 at 95.78 in the 1/8th no matter what I do. I haven't sprayed the car yet but I am not sure if I wanted a setup that would go this slow on motor. I've read other threads and it seems that this setup may benefit more from a 4K converter just not sure if that would make much of a difference.

You need more converter for good times NA but then you risk blowing through it on the nitrous.

The one downside to a nitrous fed automatic equipped car is trying to balance that out.

I got a T400 FTI 4k hard hitter stall and it flashed like 5k best 60 is 1.53 . This is in an iron 370 in a #3700 car. On nitrous it flashes about 5.8k.

Cstone, are you primarily going to be using the converter on a NA setup no nitrous? If so as thunderstruck mentioned we can loosen the converter up to work better on NA but at the risk of the converter not performing as well on nitrous. We can make the converter work great on nitrous and alright on motor and vice versa, OR somewhere in between where you won't get the best possible outcome for motor only or nitrous but a better balance of the 2.

Dalton I'm planning on spraying 200 max on the car but not all the time. I still wanted the car to be able to cut better than a 1.8 60ft on motor. I think I may have went tighter on the converter than I wanted. I'm gonna try some different things out as far as my launches go before I go pulling the converter out and everything because i still don't see why it can't get any better than that.

We can improve on the motor performance! But that is usually at the cost of some performance while spraying it. Don't forget your converter comes with a 1 year, 1 free re-stall as well.
