4l60e pump higher rpm use
I’m not sure on this but I think the billet rotor is more of an hp thing than RPM. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I am 445 wrhp with a stock rotor and I have not had any issues. It is probably good insurance if you want to spend the extra $.
A stock 10 Vane Rotor is pretty stout but **** happens, $165 is pretty cheap for piece of mind!

I took mine apart yesterday to inspect it and its a 13 vane. Since they are more likely to break compared to the 10, I just bought a billet 13 vane rotor, hardened rings and the Sonnax high rpm spring from PATC.
IMO, I would get;
-Inspect rotor surface for flatness, machine or replace if neccasary.
-GM Gaskets and Seals
-GM Rebuild Kit for Rotor (Metal Ring, O-Ring), Sonnax Vanes and check clearances for as tight as possible, within spec
-Billet Rotor (I used a FLT Billet 13-Vane Rotor)
-TransGo 700 PKH 5500+ High RPM Unbreakable Pump Rings
-Sonnax Pump Slide Pivot Pin
-Sonnax Line Booster Kit (4L60E-LB1 or LB2)
-Sonnax High RPM Pump Slide Spring
-Sonnax Stator Support Shaft (Comes with Extra Wide Bushings and is machined for better/tighter clearances)
-Sonnax TCC Apply Valve Kit
-Sonnax TCC Billet Aluminum Solenoid Snout Kit
This is what I did to my pump on my 4L70E, I have a 13 Vane rotor/pump. I think that is about everything you can do to it other than enlarging some feed holes or drilling new holes that some trans builders do. I never did any of that tho.
