Default 4L80e Trans

would the 4L80e be a good trans for a upper 750 horsepower build? Also will this unit support a trans brake for drag race launching?

yes it will be a good candidate, if you grab a junkyard one then do yourself a favor and rebuild it. the bushings are a common wear point. also do the recommended internal upgrades and changes so it will shift like a banchee. i opted for a jakes d3 brake since it comes with a entire new valve body. i also did a jakes stage 3 rebuild

CPP has the Supermatic 4L85e for $2991.78. I think that a really good deal.
