Default Transmission winding noise in first gear
when u put the car into first on the shifter when it reaches 3rpm it begins to make a winding noise pretty loud is it supposed to do that?

I'm manual low the planets will make more noise at high RPM simply because of the high speeds they are spinning, Wither your noise is abnormal would be hard to say without hearing it in person,
