Default Going back to a DD with a stall cooling questions

I have to sell one of my cars and it is not about to be my ws6, problem is it needs a transmission. Now I have done a ton of work to this car and it has potential to be a very dependable car.

Enigine is stock with bolt ons and doesn't need anything other than a few more gaskets to finish sealing it (including rearmain).

Now I don't have the worst problem for I have a performa built lvl2 that needs a refresh already and I plan to support a great company in my state and replace my revmax (altough fun stall) with a ptc 3600.
As some of you can already guess I live in alabama. It gets hot to say the least, heat is a concern, I will be in a lot if stop and go traffic a lot and I want to keep things running and dependable.

Ok, so what I am looking are ideas and experience with different cooling systems, (I will speak with perfomabuilt and ptc to see what they say as well) and I would honestly like it to be proprietary.

What I am thinking/wondering thus far is:
1. Plate style cooler size undetermained. What size?
2. How much would a fan help?
3. What size/kind of cooler lines? 6an?
4. Is there a way to control temps?
5. How much clearance do I lose with a deep pan?
6. Would a deep pan be better than a fan? I can only do one at
the moment.
7. Will I need another tune for the new transmission?
8. Good trans temp guage?

My budget is about $250 for the cooling system (with work and school I haven't had time to play my ps4 anyway) . I don't mind building on to later and I can't afford to risk raceing it at the moment and having the stock rear crap out, however this car was being built to drive whenever, and however much I want, and run an 8.0 and 7.0 index (ran a best 8.18 1/8mi with a 1.9 60 ft on god awful tires), and with the bottle it can do both. That's why I would rather build a proprietary system.

I have my power steering cooler right in front of left front wheel covered up by my inner fender well, and I would like to mirror that on the other side. I know I have the overflow tank to contend with and I see that as another sourse of heat being radiated in that small area, as well as limiting room.

Sorry to be long winded, I just wanted to give as much info with my plans so you don't have to ask, what are your plans.
Any input welcome. Also I will try to load up some pictures this weekend if that would help.

Thank Skitztik.

deeper truck pan and tru-cool H7B cooler with -6an braided line should do the trick. I don't have ac in my car and its mounted on the radiator, so I don't know how much room you'd have with the condenser in the car.

As MJS mentioned the pan, cooler and lines will do the trick. You don't HAVE to do the pan now but I would definitely do the cooler and lines.

Our cooler kit that comes with the -6AN lines, hose ends, all necessary fittings, and the cooler is only $269 on our website, which is relatively close to your mentioned budget.

Here's a link to the kit on our website.
