Default Broke Transmission pan bolt

Anyone have any ideas on how to remove a snapped off bolt? It is in the front corner. I used an ez out that broke inside the bolt. I have used a center punch to extract the ez out and that has not worked. I really need help and am open to suggestions. What is the best thing to do next?

It is on a 98 trans am 4L60E.

thanks!

The bolt should not be too difficult to remove. As stated above, a better quality tool should do it.

Drill it and heli-coil it. EZ outs are worthless 99.5% of the time.

In this situation tho, the stock pan bolt torque is around 9-lbs., a quality Ez-out should not have any problems removing that bolt. Cheap Ez-outs tend to not grab well and, like said above, break.

You have to break the carbide extractor out of the bolt first, There is not a way to drill through carbide with the trans in the vehicle.
If you have access to a Plasma cutter......Burn the carbide out.

He did say he removed the broken Ez-out from the bolt.
