Default 99 trans am tranny swap

I've gotten to the point where my 99 Trans Am hurts me to drive it. I'm disabled with arthritis and the 6 speed tremec tranny is the problem, much as I hate to say so. So here's my question. How difficult/expensive would it be to swap my manual T -56 for the automatic 460LE transmission? My car is in excellent condition with 70K babied miles. Anyone care to jump in on this one?

Not worth the hassle, To do it right is not cheap. Take advantage of what people will pay for a clean low mileage LS1/T56 car!!

As many problems as people seem to have with those things, I wouldn't want a 4L60e even close to my car. You may be better served with an 80e.....or th400. Skip the 4l60.
