Default 4l80e fmvb. what converter?

Hey guys I just got my 4l80e back not too long ago and it had the transgo hd3 full manual kit installed. well, I guess I shouldve researched beforehand, but its a done deal now. I was wondering what the best route to go Is. I can get a pricy lockup converter and run it on a switch, or I can get a non-lockup converter, I am not too worried about mileage honestly because I have a 4 cylinder daily driver if need be. its going in a turbo truck, and its main use will be street. will the non-lockup converter be cheaper? I found a few search results but everyone was talking mileage instead of streetability or cost. anyone running either of these setups? Thanks
