Grinding Noise Driving From Complete Stop
So I recently rebuilt my transmission, I am sure a few of you can find my thread on that. I have it finally working now and it shifts great. However, the second night after it was all good, I noticed that when I had the truck on a slight slop and was completely stopped, I would let go of the brakes and there was this grinding and vibrating as it pulled away.
This has only happened occasionally on slopes. If I am completely stopped and then I let go of the brakes, it may or may not do this depending on the road. When I unsuccessfully rebuilt my transmission back in February, I had only use 6 frictions and 5 steels. The second time through, I was told to use 7 frictions and 6 steels for a tighter clearance in the input drum, which I believe affected my overall endplay. I changed the rear bushing which made the output shaft spin less freely since it was a bit tighter. The 2-4 belt is also brand new, so maybe it's gripping the input drum in a completely different way now. I don't think this would be the root of my problem, so if anyone can give me any pointers on what it might be, brakes or transfer case, let me know.
Again, other than this occasional noise from a complete stop to slightly moving, the truck drives perfectly fine and shifts like a champ now. I don't think the transfer case is filled to the level that it should be, so if that could potentially be the problem, let me know.
I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 LS 4x4 with a 5.3L V8 and 4L60E transmission and NP2 transfer case.

Alright so it turns out my front driver's side brake caliper is sticking very badly. This problem only occurs when I am driving the truck for long periods of time, so I assume it only gets worse as the caliper gets more sticky. I will change both front calipers this weekend and keep everyone posted.
Let me know if anyone has an suggestions/comments on the situation still.
