Default Engine transmission compatibility

Hey guys kinda new to the whole LS thing, I'm putting together a drive train and I need to know if it will work. I have a 2001 5.3 vortec with a flashed ecu, and a 4l60e tranni. But the tranni is from a 94 ss impala, so my question is will the 2001 ecu run the 94 transmission?

Not without a Valve Body, Plate, & Harness swap from a 1996 & up transmission.
The converter clutch material in a original '94 converter is not compatible with PWM TCC strategy.....Have the PWM turned off in the tune!
