decision time: ss3200, ss3600, or pt4000
Based on your post #1, get the Yank SS3600 or the Circle D 3600. I've used both and did not notice any difference between them. Both much tighter than any TCI and both are very streetable. You will be happy with either.
And please don't start any more threads on this topic - if you do, I will delete them.
Its not the biggest decision you will make in your life.
You will be extremely happy with either the Yank or CircleD. Its like trying to pick between a hot blonde and a hot brunette when all you have now is a VHS **** tape.

You think those things are bad? Eight threads on torque converter - wait until he tries to pick out a cam. That will be a dozen at least.
with yank if you ever have any type of problem, lol just forget it ur done because they are perfect and nothing they make can ever have a problem and nothing they do is ever wrong. lol stay far away. google their stuff and you will see lots of lockup clutch issues and other stuff.
yank seems to have some sort of following on this website where people are like oh he has one ill get one. i fell for that and suffered the consequences. i have a precision converter now in actually two different cars and they are both performing exactly the way they should.
I was very happy with my Yank SS3600; during my experimentation I ruined the lockup clutch, admitted it and Yank still rebuilt the converter for a very modest charge.
I have read every thread here for the past few years and don't remember a single one critical of a Yank converter nor their service. And 100+ positive mentions.
