fluid change

I have 26k on my truck I'm going to change the trans fluid.. Should I drop the pan and change the filter or should I just drain it and fill it?

For best results, do a cooler-line flush and filter change. Failing that, I'd say just drop the pan and change the filter. If you're going to do it, do it right.
