Default some assistance please..

looking to fix my transmission leak at the tube, got the tube out (removed the passenger side catalytic converter to get the pesky tube bolt, also way easy to get #8 spark plug, assuming of course your bolts don't snap, thank God mine didn't) got the tube seal out. whats the proper procedure for reinstall? as far as the seal, tube and I read somewhere about using sealant about an inch up on the tube. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I never us sealant here. I just push the seal or boot into the hole in the trans and then put a little lube on the tube and push the tube into the seal.
