Default 4l60E temp question

This car is my first car with an auto all my cars have been stick shifts, I got my stall and trans cooler so im going to be installing a temp gauge for the trans so I can keep an eye on it to make sure the cooler is doing its job my question is what is the normal temp of these to run at and how hot is too hot that I should start to worry

I see 150-200 as normal, but it gets awfully hot here and we usually don't have much of a winter. I would start worrying over 220.

220 isn't that hot, think about it. The stock cooler goes into the radiator and these cars typically run 210-220 with the stock t-stat. Typically 150 range with an aftermarket cooler on it is about adv, i see 180 or so in summer depending on where i put the cooling fan settings at.
