Hi All,

I have a new Performabuilt Level 2 4L60E with an FTI 4000 hard hit converter. So far so good with the trans. The transmission makes a sound just like a goose honk on the 1-2 shift at low speed and low rpm, especially if I let off the gas right before the shift. Any ideas what this could be?

 

Have you contacted the builder, Never take to the internet 'til you do....Especially when naming the builder! The sound may not be transmission related at all.

 

No. I'm going to call them. I'm not saying anything bad about them. I ask because I thought it might be a common sound.
