Default 4L60E question

I have a 2000 silverado 4x4 that is in need of a transmission and I bought a 1999 tahoe 4x4 for the tranny,I need to know if anyone knows if this will work,both trannys a 4L60E

Yes, as long as they are both 4x4 4l60's from a V8 you are good to go

Both need to have the bolt hole at 12 o clock and be behind a gen3 5.3 engine, or both not. 99/00 was the transition years where engine/trans were changing.
