Default 4L60E shift solenoid replacement as regular maintenance?
I will be changing the fluid and filter in my aging 4L60E in the near future and I'm soliciting opinions here on whether any of you replace the 1-2 shift solenoid as a maintenance item or only when they are causing problems? The solenoids appear inexpensive, and easily replaced with the pan removed. Thanks

Agreed if you do not have a problem don't fix it , Many times fixes like that result in a problem.
