guys,

I just finished a new build, with a 4l80E out of a wrecked truck. I had tested it before and know it shifts fine....

We installed a transgo HD 2 shift kit, and put a winters sidewinder shifter in it.

It does not seem to want to go into any gear when I can visually see the transmission selector IS moving... I dont feel the car engage or the RPM's drop...

anything to check/troubleshoot.? We tried adding 2 quarts of fluid and will try again tommorow.

No motion at all first remove the line pressure tap and install gauge or if do not have one just start for a few moments does it spray it out should be substantial also how much total do you have in it,? If it full and does not spray or have pressure the pump is broken.

I see this all the time with customer installed shift kits......

-Drop the pan.....Is the Boost Valve & Sleeve in the bottom of the pan?

-If you installed the Trans Go blow-off valve, Make sure it got assembled correctly.

-Did you install a filter? Seen this!

-Did the manual valve get installed? Seen this also!
