4l60e transmisson shifting to early
hi i have this problem with my year old fully build transmission.
this is all the specs. THESE UNITS WILL HANDLE UP 750HP AND OVER 700 POUNDS OF TORUQE ..TURBO OR SUPER CHARGED ENGINES NEED ANTI BALLOON CONVERTORS

ok my problem is no matter what i do in the tuning like up shifting speed, rpm etc, is not taking command. am using hp tuner. any help will be appreciated. thanks

No one has answered because no one knows what "is not taking command" means.
Are you saying that tune changes have no effect on the shift speeds?
If yes, I would say that is virtually impossible.
I assume you have a properly licensed version, enough credits to write a tune and know how to write the tune.
Now, assuming all that is true, try reading the tune after performing the write to see if the write really worked.

my car is a 1998 trans, am and i did all the bolt on, 1.75 headers,k&n filter,85mm bbk port & polish intake,full 3" exhaust system,4.11 gear swap and 305/35/18 mickey thompson drag radials. them i sent the computer to frost for a mail tune and he tune and was running perfect until i broke my transmission, and them i buy the new trany and the hp tuner, and start tuning the trany my self. and I forgot to mention i have a new 3500 stall converter. like i say maybe am doing something wrong. if you want i can post my tuning file for you to look at it. thanks

I'm not very familiar with the 1998 system, it's a little different. I see no place to enter gear ratio.
But under gear/tire wizard it says your tires are 6.15 inches tall. That will make it stack shifts and with a converter you might not feel it. It will just feel sluggish.
That number should be 26.3 or close to it.
Some other things I just noticed that might not help: upshift and down shift speeds are too close together.
Might want to disable P0300 just because.
System too rich bank 1 and 2 is weird. seems like that's covering up a problem.
I would raise the tcc apply speed, but you'll figure that out because it'll be very annoying.

thanks jays for your fast response, i all ready disable the PO300 code, but anyway i had it to adjust in the tuning for the knock sensor for by less sensitive because the tcc was activating and deactivated in low speed. now the real question is how to figure out the tire and gear ratio math, to to enter in those boxes? any idea?
ohhh and what deference on speed , up shift and down shift value should i put.
