Talking 4l60e limp mode

My first post...
anyways i have a 2000 silverado 1500 4.8 4x4, I bought it from a friend that had just got done rebuilding it , he got the trainsmission back in the truck and drobe it for 300 miles with zero problems, then the cooler line blew and all of the trainsmission fluid came out, he drove it home which was stupid, but he thought he burnt up 1st gear so he sold it to me I did some research turns out its in limp mode (because of running out of fluid correct?) Well I got it home and theres a code on for p0756 so I swapped the solenoid B unhooked the battery, got everything put back, and drove it around 120ish miles and no codes but still in limp mode (taking off in 3rd will downshift automatically to 2nd if I give it time, but anyways I did have a random misfire along with the p0756 before I changed the solenoid but ever sense I did the solneiod swap I havent had any lights on, its my daily so any possible foxes would be great lol, also don't I need to have thw trainsmission module reset by a code scanner to get it out of limp mode? Or is there another way of getting it out of limp mode

First, welcome to LS1TECH.com

Various engine codes, such as P0756 or codes related to the TPS or MAF will cause limp mode.
