A stock one, In really good shape? Around 350 ft lbs......It really depends on the weight of the vehicle though.

how light of a car would actually affect the amount of torque that the tranny can handle ?

Rpms are another thing also. My H/C car was doing just fine until I started spinning it to 7000 rpms which seriously pissed it off lol. Mine was not a stock unit either.

Before mine let go I got to get in about 10 passes at the end of this past season. All passes were 1.5x 60's at almost full weight. (No ac, no spare tire)

Because a light car will tend to smoke the tires before really getting hooked up at the rear with great traction. It's only when the rear wheel traction starts to build that the strain on your transmission will go up.

I'm guessing no harm done. The ATSG repair book for the 4L60E shows several durability / reliability GM upgrades after your stock 1995 4L60E was produced that you might consider for your trans. Like any piece of machinery, you can eventually wear anything out if it is overly abused too many times.
