There is no reason what so ever to need to know what that code means.
Someone wants a transmission to build, they need to look at the input set up.
Plans to put a shift kit in? Well the shift kit most likely eliminates factory calibration and makes it universal.
That F I'm guessing is the plant that built it. The most irrelevant piece of information needed.

All you had to do is not reply, did not need your Rant.

I am curious as to what the numbers/letters mean, they do mean something.

Sorry if my asking questions here on this forum ruffles your feathers.

So God forbid I ask what the other set of numbers stand for.

That's a rant?
Ok. I suppose if you're hypersensitive.
It's 100% how it is. FF is the vehicle code.
Ever hear of google? No one else is bothering to answer.

Lets keep it pleasant here!
FourthGenCamaro - you appear to be very knowledgeable which is greatly appreciated, maybe even a pro, but as a newbie here, super politeness is also appreciated.
LS1121 - if you tell us your goals for the question, we might be able to give a better answer. "Just out of curiosity" is fine, but it helps to know that.

Perhaps FourthGen could post a brief decode table, because I think it knows it by heart.
