shifting problems after TCI 3500 install
shifting problems after TCI 3500 install Ok under part throttle (30-80%) on the 1-2 shift the car stops accelerating and the engine seems to cut out then it starts to come back only to cutout again and then it shifts into 2nd gear. all this takes about 1-2 seconds, and is very noticable. but under full throttle it seems to be much better. what is wrong? is this torque managment?
I went out to the track last friday and I was hitting the rev limiter going from 2nd to 3rd gear the engine just hit the limiter for about a second before shifting. after 2 passes doing this I quit.

Yep, you need programming to have your shift points modified.
I have no personal experience with this but have read about the exact same symptoms numerous times while doing searches to research TC's for which is best for me. Read through other pots and you'll see for yourself you're not alone in this.
